In the depths of a 2nd floor cavern in Indianapolis, Indiana, two men, Devon and Mike, aka DAM!, craft futuristic beats using knowledge of the past, all the while slaying computer beasts on NBA 2k, putting in that thankless work so we can finally celebrate a championship in the land where the game was grown. The end product is neck-snapping, booty-cheek-clapping funk that is immediately dispersed by carrier Eagle to Oakland, California, where their Spreadthren awaits, pen in hand, ready to penetrate your subconscious and hypnotize your subatomic particles.

This album tastefully features Ryan Shaeffer and Jeremy Radway on guitar in spots and also Kevin Seal on a few songs with the beautiful Rhodes work. Vocally, Nate Cameron Jr. sets the tone of the album with the smooth yet authoritative hook of YCFW, J'Mal showcases the styles of the future on The Newness, BSidez displays relentless bar-work on Can't Stop Us and Pep Love, of the mighty Hieroglyphics crew, teams up with Spread to give candid insight into what hip-hop means to them and the people who lend their ears. Just two lyrical ninjas showcasing what hard work, creativity and chemistry can accomplish. Side B of this record is a continuous dance party, with Spread at the helm, weaving his threads of thought through your vibrating booty core. And finally, the album ends on a hilariously bold note with Spread's long-time partner-in-rhyme, Stakzilla hitting over an old school 80's-style DAM! beat.

In an era where albums are too long for people to pay attention to, this full length album leaves you wanting more, wishing it wouldn't end. Please enjoy listening and support real artists in any way that you can.
