One of the beautiful things about the SP1200 is that you can sample a fart and make an entire banger out of it. This installment of SPready Baked L'Oven, entitled Double Stuff'd, is all about celebrating the multiple directions you can take a 2 second sample. I'm not sure about anyone else's process, but whether SP1200, MPC, Reason, Ableton, whatever, I tend to explore as many aspects of the samples as possible and usually carve down my final version of a beat from a knobby and branchy beat blob o' plenty. Many times, the different directions never intersect and become their own organism. This collection of SP1200 beats is showcasing the double lives samples lead inside this glorious box of joy. The pitch shift function is what I miss the most...Enjoy with or without milk!
