This is a track that I did in collaboration with my homie Dam Rite. He flew into Oakland and I had just gotten my MPC and he came through and we just started getting busy on music like we always do. If you like anything about my drums, you have this man to thank. Taught me everything.
But yea. I remember I came up with the bass and synth part with a faster beat in mind and Devon heard it in half-time and it actually worked out perfectly.
