This track was born back when I was a whipper-snapper on "that site" and Mark Clive De Lowe blessed the Lesson with some warmup chords he did on a new keyboard he had purchased and basically said "have at it. Happy sampling!"
At the time, a lot of folks made beats right away from the samples, but mine took me a little longer since I was using the SP1200. While I liked what the SP did to the Rhodes, kinda rang it out and gave it a "lo-fi" vibe, the beat sounded a bit too "mechanical" for my tastes, so I added live drums on top and it made the biggest difference. This is another one that people have expressed interest in doing something with, but so far, I haven't heard anything...I don't have a song over it, so if you dig it, hit me up and let's make a tune!
